Science media contest

Filmmakers worldwide interested in science can submit video entries to a competition.

The Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival seeks entries for its Science Media Awards.

Program categories include series/limited series, short program, immersive cinema, interactive and new media, nonprofessional, institutional media installation and dramatic/theatrical. Entries will be judged on the basis of their artistic and storytelling excellence, scientific accuracy, technical achievements and their ability to communicate complex science to public audiences.

Prizes range from US$50-100. Every entry is eligible for the Best of Festival Award. The winners will be selected by a panel of science and media professionals and announced at the 2012 Symposium held September 5-7.
