Press freedom fellowship

U.S. minority, African or Asian journalists from print, TV, radio and online outlets can apply for a fellowship in Austria.

The International Press Institute presents the Li Journalism Fellowship, a two-month program where fellows will focus on a research or other project based on some aspect of press freedom.

Fellows will receive a EU€1,000 (about US$1,321) monthly stipend and a monthly travel pass to cover public transport in Vienna.

Applicants must have at least five years' professional experience and have strong English-language skills. Submit an application form, resume, two references and two writing samples by May 1.
