Internews offers media policy fellowships

Journalists from developing countries, particularly those from post-conflict nations, can apply for a two-week fellowship at the University of Oxford.

The Internews' Global Human Rights Program offers ten fully funded media policy fellowships to attend theAnnenberg-Oxford Summer Institute on Global Media Policy.

Fellowships include tuition, housing, travel and a per diem for the duration of the program, June 18-29.

The annual program brings together young scholars and regulators to discuss important recent trends in technology, international politics and development and its influence on media policy. Countries represented at previous summer institutes include Jordan, Italy, Thailand, Kenya, China, Brazil, Egypt, Nigeria and Russia, among others.

The deadline to apply is April 9, 2012.
