Scholarships are available to those interested in attending a Wikipedia conference in Mumbai, India.
The international WikiConference 2011 will focus on writing and editing, Wikipedia projects in India and possible partnerships in the Wikipedia community. The conference is open to participants from around the world, but it will deal primarily with issues relating to India.
Competitive scholarships are available to participants who wish to attend the conference but cannot afford it. Applicants should demonstrate how attending the conference will benefit themselves and others. Both partial and full travel/accomodation scholarships are available.
