Journalists can apply for scholarships to attend a conference.
The Global Investigative Journalism Conference GIJC in Kiev, Ukraine, from October 13-16.
GIJC 2011 is organized by Scoop in close cooperation with Ukrainian centers for investigative reporting. At GIJC, reporters from all over the world exchange experiences, get new contacts, attend workshops, arrange transnational investigations and expand their networks.
GIJC 2011 has funds for scholarships for colleagues who would otherwise not be able to participate in the Global Conference in Kiev. In some cases GIJC will be able to cover all costs, in other cases GIJC will only contribute.
