International graduate students studying journalism in the United States can apply for a scholarship. The deadline is December 30, and the awards will be presented in May 2011.
The Foreign Press Association Scholarship Fund offers three awards, with a first prize of US$10,000. Applicants are required to submit an op-ed piece, two samples of broadcast or print work and letters of reference. Work in a foreign language must be submitted with an English translation.
