Journalists from around the world are invited to participate in a Kazakh photo competition aimed at creating awareness about people with disabilities and opportunities to contribute to the development of society. Deadline: June 1.
The competition, "Equal Access and Equal Life," will select 40 photos for the exhibition which will take place in Almaty, Kazakhstan in June. Three winners will be awarded prizes, including cameras.
The selection committee includes film producer Timur Bekmambetov, photographers and representatives of NGOs. A short description of the photograph should be included in a submission.
