Ashoka's Changemakers and ExxonMobil have joined up to launch a global challenge, Women
Tools
Technology: Building Opportunities & Economic Power. Together they are looking for the best ideas which enable women to access and use the power of tools and technology to expand their opportunities for economic advancement, reaching their full potential in the workplace and in their communities.
Anyone can enter and have the chance to vie for one of three US$5,000 prizes. Winners will also be invited to participate in a collaboration workshop with Ashoka's Changemakers and ExxonMobil during summer 2010.
Enter by March 1 and you will be eligible for one of two early entry prizes. In addition to winning a digital camera, early entry prize winners will be featured in the Women in the World summit on March 12 and 13, 2010, and highlighted in Ashoka's Changemakers marketing materials.
How to get involved?
• Enter your idea or project that expands women’s economic opportunities through technology.
• Nominate an innovative idea for expanding women’s access to and use of technology to promote their economic advancement.
• Discuss the entries; help refine and share the solutions.
Early Entry Deadline: March 1, 2010
Final Deadline for Submissions: April 14, 2010
