UN contest for multimedia professionals

Designers, producers, application developers, journalists and writers interested in digital media and development can submit their projects.

The World Summit Youth Award (WSYA) seeks young multimedia professionals who use Internet and mobile technology to put the UN Millennium Development Goals into action and make a difference. Categories cover issues like poverty, education, gender equity, culture, environment and social justice.

Participants must be under 30 years old and citizens of UN Member states. The submitted product, project or application may be in any language. Registration information must be in English.

The winners will be invited to the WSYA Winners´ Event in Sri Lanka. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by organizers.

The deadline is July 1.
