RNTC Fellowship d for Courses in Social Media and Multimedia Journalism and Water

RNTC, the international training institute serving media professionals working in broadcast, print and online media is offering the RNTC Fellowship Fund to support journalists, programme-makers, broadcast trainers and managers from around the world who are looking to develop their media skills, but do not have enough financial means to pay for the costs of the course of their choice.

The fellowships are available for the following courses:
1. Mastering Social Media
2. Multimedia Journalism and Water

RNTC Fellowships cover the course fee (up to 50%), not the costs for travel and accommodation. The number of fellowships that RNTC can provide, however, is small.

RNTC’s Fellowships are available for professional journalists, programme-makers, broadcast trainers and managers coming from the following countries (a combined NFP list and low-middle-income countries according to the World Bank criteria):

Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Autonomous Palestinian Territories, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana,Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kenya, Kosovo, Macedonia, Mali, Moldova, Mongolia, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Surinam, Tanzania,Thailand, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

The scholarships will be awarded on academic and professional merit.

Deadlines:
   Mastering Social Media: 1 August 2013
   Multimedia Journalism: 1 October 2013
