The International Street Paper Awards, sponsored by the International Network of Street Papers, celebrate the impact of street papers as independent social media and advocates for justice.
There are six award categories available for street papers, and one award available to a mainstream media outlet that has advocated for the rights of homeless people. The chairman of the judging panel is David Schlesinger, the former Editor-In-Chief for Reuters News.
Entries must have been published between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010. For more information,click here.
