Magazine and news designers invited to submit works to competition

Magazine and newspaper designers are invited to submit their creative design works to the Best News Design Creative Competition. The deadline for non-American participants is January 20.
The competition is sponsored by the U.S.-based Society for News Design and S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University to recognize excellence in news design, graphics, and photography.
The competition is open to all general circulation newspapers and magazines. Submissions are judged in 18 different categories including World's Best Designed-Newspaper, News Design, Breaking News Topic, Special News Topics, and Multimedia Design.
All entries must have been published between January 1 and December 31, 2009. The competition will be judged in February.
