Courageous women journalists around the world to be awarded

Courageous female journalists will be recognized through the 2010 Courage in Journalism and Lifetime Achievement Awards being sponsored by the International Women's Media Foundation. Deadline is March 5, 2010.
Nominations are being sought from women working in news media around the world who exhibit extraordinary strength in pursuing journalism under difficult or dangerous circumstances.
Awards will be presented at ceremonies in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles. Each winner will be awarded US$5,000.
All nominations must be in English.
