Online course on “Essentials on Anti-Corruption and Human Development”

It is a pleasure for the UNDP Virtual School to inform you about the new 10-week online course on “Essentials on Anti-Corruption and Human Development” that will be launched in September of 2011. This course is the first UNDP training initiative that provides analytical and practical tools on anticorruption from a human development perspective and promotes a comparative analysis of corruption practices around the globe.
The overall objective of the course is to provide participants with essential conceptual knowledge as well as analytical and practical skills on anti-corruption programming including assessment and measurement of corruption.

Duration:
10 weeks and needs dedication of 10 hours a week
Cost:
The course is 80% financed by UNDP. Students interested to participate are expected to co-pay 150 USD.

Requirements:
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
  • Be working on projects/initiatives related to Anti-Corruption, Transparency and Human Development issues.
  • Computer availability, Internet access.
  • Students need 10 hours per week in order to read, discuss in the course forums and participate in the course activities.
  • Be proficient in English

How to apply?
Students must first register in the Virtual School database by completing the online form in the following link:
Once you have completed this step, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your username and password.
Visit www.undpschool.org and login on the top left of the screen. Once you are logged in, please click on "Course
enrollments" under the User Menu.
Now you will find the inscription format. To select the course, click on the title “Essentials on Anticorruption and Human
Development”. Remember the fields/boxes that are marked with a (*) are mandatory. Once completed, click on “Submit”.
The system will show a message as follows: You have been successfully registered on the course: “Essentials on Anticorruption and Human Development”. The message confirms that the registration process is completed.

Instructions regarding the 20% of the payment will be sent to students selected to participate.
