The U.S. University of Kansas will host a workshop designed to help reporters with little or no background covering the military learn more about today's military in the United States. Deadline: July 1.
The workshop, called "Bridging the Gap: Media and the Military Workshop for Journalists," will take place at the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. The week long workshop will be held September 26 to October 1.
The program covers lodging, meals and airfare.
