Journalists worldwide can apply for a fellowship to cover a conference in Brazil.
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) and O Eco offer fellowships for 12 journalists to attend the Rio+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development held June 20-22 in Rio de Janeiro.
The organizers will cover travel to the summit, accommodation and a daily stipend.
The fellowship begins June 14 with journalism training sessions, pre-summit conferences and a field trip.
Applicants must provide a letter of support from their editor/producer/supervisor, have a demonstrated commitment to covering sustainable development issues and be fluent in either English, Spanish or Portuguese.
The application deadline is April 25.
